2009 Hoffman Challenge Winners Announced and
2010 Collection Announced
Fabrics for the 2010 Hoffman Challenge have been announced. The theme fabric is shown below.
Hoffman Challenge is the place to go for all the information you need to consider if you plan to enter next year’s contest. Apparently up to 1000 entries are received annually.
The Hoffman website has the exhibition and travel schedules, general information, a FAQ page, showcase of past winners, a newsletter to sign onto, information for volunteers, a store locator for purchasing the fabric, all the rules, prizes, even photo CD’s for sale of winners dating back to 2002 plus a Judging video. Hoffman Fabrics wants quilters to understand that they are encouraged to use fabric from other manufacturers. Hoffman stipulates that no more than 20% of the quilt top may be constructed with the 2010 Challenge Fabric Collection.
