		<description>thanks Jim for this comment. It can be a lot of work getting permissions. In one blog post I wanted to use a photo of a quilt that was loosely based on a landscape watercolor print. I contacted the quilt maker who said yes, but  she also said I should contact the artist of the watercolor, who had given the quilt artist permission to interpret his work. I do wonder if this step was really necessary to be copyright &quot;legal&quot;.</description>
